Like on a Stage

The works in this category all bear resemblance to a stage: from a large open-air stadium to a theatre stage and an ancient Roman bathhouse. Like miniature movie sets, the platforms provide a backdrop for figures fashioned out of dried paint tubes or nectarine pips as they stand poised in an unfolding scene.

These three-dimensional artworks wholly embrace the notion that you can look at a work from all sides, each offering you a different interpretation. Here, the stage represents a space rich in metaphoric potential, a place where Micha Nussinov, playing the role of puppet master, can dissect and unravel the figurative stages of existence.
