Made from a blend of recycled materials, the works in Figures occupy a liminal space between human and object, depicting figures that are neither wholly one nor the other. Inventive and playful, these works routinely combine metal and wood for a result that is equal parts industrial and organic. Like the works in Interactive Sculptures, many of these sculptures contain moving parts and incorporate some kind of musical or auditory element.
